He was predeceased by: his parent Harley Norman; his sister Terry Lee Woodworth; and his grandparents, Andrew, Dorothy Hermanns (Strahm), Hayden and Carrie Woodworth (Palmer).
He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Francis Woodworth (Hermanns); his sister Connie Dobbins; his sons, Grant Andrew (Andrea) of Walla Walla and Tyler Hayden (Katie) of Olympia; and his grandchildren, Aidan and Nadia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Memorials may be made to the Waitsburg Lions Club in Val's name or a charity of the donor's choice.
