He is survived by: his children, Nick Sidwell (Sally) of Hayden, ID, Debbie Michaels (Larry) of Oak Harbor, WA, Sandy Decker (Kevin) of Spokane, WA, Larry Gourlie (Bekki Plumb) of Bothell, WA, Venita Longley (Gary) of Burien, WA, Phil Gourlie of Arlington, WA, Allan Gourlie (Julie) of Edmonds, WA and Tina Boling (Mark) of Burien, WA; and his siblings, Shirley L. Mulvihill of Renton, WA, Christopher Doby Newman (AJ) of Lenore, ID, Gracie S. Newman Senter (Guy) of Pullman, WA, Helen Newman Snyder of Lewiston, ID, Andrea J. Newman Petersen (Mike) of Walla Walla, WA and Patricia J. Newman Armiger of Kamiah, ID. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
