She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Scharwat and Dorothy Scharwat; and her brother Dean. She is survived by: her husband Samuel J. Via; her children, Taeya Howell (Jason) of Provo and Jonathan Via (Laura) of Pullman, Washington.; her grandchildren, Amelia, Aliza, Tallulah, Clarice, Bodhi, Suzannah and Emory; and her sister Connie Love (Michael) of Charlotte, NC..
