He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred E. E. Toerne and Leora German Toerne Nau; and his wives, Bina Hansen Toerne and Beth Toerne. He is survived by: his children, Karen Toerne (Mac Test) and Kevin Toerne (Melissa Toerne); his grandchildren, Kyla Toerne Corta, Kian Toerne and Lucas Toerne; and his former wife Lisa Whitlow.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at the Unitarian Universalist Church (420 Second St, Moscow, ID 83843).
