She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rafael Barajas and Pascuala Belmares Cruz; her foster parents, Gumecindo Gonzales and Juanuta Gonzales of Donna, Texas.; her husband Amando Nunez of Bothell, WA; and her children, Lupita McAllister of Bothell, Cesar Nunez (Dana) of Kennewick, Norma Matar (Peter) of Santa Fe, NM and Rafael Nunez (Lornna) of Prosser. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
