We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2022, at the age of 90, Mildred Zimmermann Powell Childers of Prosser, Washington, born in Sunnyside, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Emma Sophia Madison (Carlson); her former spouse Glenn Powell; her husband Howard Jay Childers; and her siblings, William, Jack, George, Joanna, Louise, Stanley, Edward, Donald, Joe and Harold.
She is survived by: her sister Charlotte Butler of Prosser; her son Jonathan Zimmermann (Barbara) of Richland; her grandchildren, Max Zimmermann of Waitsburg, WA and Madison Wyatt (Ryan) of Kennewick; and her friend Tina Smith of Prosser. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
