She was predeceased by: her parents, John Knoll and Elsie Knoll (Roettel); and her husband Roy Simpson. She is survived by: her children, Diane Dodgson (George) of Prosser, Denise James (Curtis) of Portland and Dale Simpson (Paula) of Ellensburg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
