She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Hughes; her parents, Sam Birdsall and Clara Birdsall; and her siblings, Vivian Yotty, Lloyd, Duwaine and Glenn Birdsall.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Hughes (Sonia), Connie Channel (Jim) of Prosser and Barbara Kowaleski of Madras, Oregon.; her grandchildren, Lynn Channel (Kim), Heidi Moreno (Cip) of Prosser, Traci Eayrs (Marshal) of Pasco, Lyndsay Hessel (Joel) and Christian Kowaleski (Torri) of Madras, Oregon.; her great grandchildren, Reid Moreno (August) of Spokane, Zoe Moreno, Zach Channel, Ian Moreno, Joe Channel, Noah Moreno of Prosser, Dominic Hessel of Madras and Alice Moreno; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Hughes of Florida and Wes Hughes of Virginia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Chaplaincy Hospice House in Kennewick or Jubilee Ministries in Prosser or the charity of choice.
