He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Reeves (Bud) and Helen Reeves; his wife Norene; his children, Mikal Reeves, Jeffrey Reeves and Ingrid Reeves; his grandchildren, Landon, Ella Emel and Cash Branes; his children, Robyn Johns, Allysa Bowman, Debi Auerbach-Panning, Jessica Halverson, Clay Branes, Levi Leider, Kristianna Hardning, Ryan Garcia, Brandon Coulter, Dan Vogel, Jackie Christopherson, Alex Rae, Luke Demick, Natalie Magnus and Lindsey Kravitz Honorary; his grandchildren, Riley Buendicho, Charlie, Gevie Harding, Stella, Desmond Kravitz and Miranda Christopherson; and his sister Pamela Kirkland. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
