He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Harwood; his children, Kim Harrington and Scott Harwood; his grandchildren, Cole Harrington, Ben Harwood and Joy Harwood; and his siblings, Nancy Burke, Andy Harwood and Heidi Fram.
Worked for the Rockefeller Foundation in India, Thailand and the Philippines to significantly reduce the Asian food shortages of the 1960's and 70's.
