He is survived by: his wife Flor Estela Valdez; and his children, Alva Aguirre (Jose), Lillian Garza Leandro (Obelio Jr.), Flor Burgess (Johnny), Laura Reka (Sadik), Erika Shelley (Vic), Gregorio III, Gabriel and Melissa Gonzalez (Abel). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
