He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reece Owens and Effie Owens (McKinney); his wife Hilda Beplate; and his children, Duane Owens (Linda), David Owens (Leona), Raymond Owens (Charly) and Mary Ann Hendrix Onaway (Denny) of Idaho. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 19 great great grandchildren.
