Frances left this world on June 22, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Simon and Anna Simon (Payne); her husband Robert West; and her sisters, Nellie Wolfe and Jean Ascomb.

She is survived by : her children, Dale West (Leilani) of Coeur d'Alene, ID, Sharon West of Kettle Falls, WA and Nancy Gonzales of Orcutt, CA; and her sister Anabelle Syms of Pullman, WA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Palouse Federated Church (635 N Bridge St, Palouse, WA 99161).
