He was predeceased by: his spouse Erleen Joyce Hetherington; his son Jack; and his siblings, Rodney, Ernest, Ethel, Thelma, Alice and Daisy.

He is survived by: his daughter Sally Page of Aberdeen. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and other relatives.
