He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stephens (Blackie) and Ruth Olsen Stephens; his wife Louise Kelley Stephens of Raymond; his son Donald Wayne; his partner Marion Salme; his granddaughter Lily Stephens (Doug); and his sisters, Deannie Stephens and Carrie Cummings (William Villanueva).
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Scott Duane, Karla Diane and Douglas Irvin; his friend Don Murdock; his children, Scott Stephens (Norma), Karla Stephens Webber (Jamie) and Doug Stephens (Lisa); his siblings, Roy Stephens and Trudy Heggem; his partner's son Gary Salme; and also Karla. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions go to help maintain the Wall of Honor at Willapa Valley High School.
