It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Groeneweg (Outlook, Washington), born in Sunnyside, Washington, who passed away on May 22, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Groeneweg and Ida Groeneweg; and his sister Annette. He is survived by: his former wife Martina Veldhuizen; his wife Karon Kilian; his children, Janice Tovar (Ruben), Bob Groeneweg (Hester), Patsy Underwood (Bill) and Leroy Groeneweg (Sara); his grandchildren, Jason Tovar (Megan), Ashley Tovar, Zac Tovar, Ryan Groeneweg, Tyler Groeneweg, Michael Underwood, Kyle Underwood (Emily), Blake Groeneweg and Brady Groeneweg; his great grandchild Lilly Underwood; his stepchildren, Diana, Paul, Becky and David; and his siblings, Martha VandenBrand, Mary Edema, Paul Groeneweg and Ruth Biesheuvel. He is also survived by numerous sister and brother in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
