With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney DeLeon (Othello, Washington), born in Bishop, Texas, who passed away on July 29, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvestre DeLeon and Ernestina Garza DeLeon; his siblings, Hector DeLeon, Rosa DeLeon and Irma DeLeon; and his son-in-law Jerome Krier.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Michael Morelos; his siblings, Sylvestre DeLeon Jr., Victor DeLeon, Rosa Gonzalez, Irma Aguilar and Tina DeLeon; his children, Evelyn Krier, Randy DeLeon and Kevin DeLeon; his stepdaughters, Cheryl Sherman, Tania Morelos (Michael) and Thalia Lemus (Jose); and his grandchildren, Matthew Krier, Tyler Krier, Randy DeLeon Jr., Sarah DeLeon, Nicholas DeLeon, Steven DeLeon, Breanna DeLeon, Ellis Morelos, Mary Morelos, Victoria Morelos, Leon Morelos, Jeremiah Lemus and Aaron Lemus.
He was surrounded by his children and loving family when the gates of heaven opened after 15 courageous years battling Alzheimer's; he was 80 years old.
