He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Escamilla Serna; and his brother Ruben Serna. He is survived by: his children, Alexis Duran, Nayeli Serna, Luciano Serna Jr. and Michelle Serna; the parent of his children Yadira Duran; and his siblings, Maria Elena Lopez, Lorenzo Serna, Reynaldo Serna, Leonel Serna, Toribio Serna Jr., Refugio Serna, Rogelio Serna, Leonardo Serna and Rodrigo Serna. He is also survived by one of eleven siblings and uncle/tio to many nephews and nieces and grandnephews/nieces.
