He is survived by: his wife Donna of Othello; his children, Kara Jo Carey (Donald) of Olathe, KS and Michael Joseph Ruttan (Sally) of Richland, WA; his granddaughter Anna Carey Chavez of Albuquerque, NM; his children, Alyssa Carey of Olathe, KS and Derek Ruttan of Richland, WA; and his nieces, Barbara Caswell and Louise Grey.
