He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Gasser and Martha Vogler. He is survived by: his aunt Marie; his wife MaryAnn Ackerman; his siblings, Josef Gasser, Vreni VonRotz and Clara Burki; and his stepdaughters, Lida Espinoza, Rose (Todd Collecchi), Trudy (Randy Morey), Kathy Ackermann (Bruce Mitchell) and Annie (George Molina). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 8 sisters-in-law.
