It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Amy Emita Forthun of Oroville, Washington, born in Vernon, British Columbia, who passed away on June 5, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Marchand and Lena Marchand; and her siblings, Doreen, Georgina, Joyce Ann, Ernie and Glen.
She is survived by: her husband Leland Forthun; her sons, Scott (Mary), Jeff and Brad; her grandchildren, CarliAnn Bruner, JaeLyn Forthun, Connor Forthun, Heather Forthun and Hunter Forthun; her great grandchildren, Ruth and Raven Bruner; and her siblings, Fran, Wanda, Arnie and Verdan.
