He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Brownlee and Margaret Swartz Brownlee; and his sister Winnifred. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Fox of Riceville; his children, Teresa (Kenneth Tripp), Richard Craig (Mary Brownlee), Robert Brownlee, Brian (Rebecca Brownlee), Scott (Kathy Brownlee) and Kurt (Danna Brownlee); and his brother Richard of Ottumwa, Iowa.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
