He was predeceased by: his father Howard Rounds; his wife Emogene Rounds; his mother May Guyll Rounds (Guyll); and his siblings, Russell, Jim, Ed, Hubert Rounds, Lela Rounds, Mary Cannaday (Claude) and Virginia Hill (Carl).

He is survived by: his children, Kim Rounds (Tina) of Spokane and Charlotte Gould (Steve) of Omak. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
