He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Louise; and his siblings, Glenn, Bob, Keith, Bill, Lola, Marlene, Maxine and Judy.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Hart; his sons, Roger "Willy" Hart (Laurie), James (Katrina) and Jon; and his grandchildren, Dylan of Yakima, Colton of Yakima and Aubrey Hart of Yakima. He is also survived by his brothers and his father.
For the last 30 years, Roger served as President of the National High School Rodeo Scholarship Foundation and Sue has been the National Director for Washington State.
