He is survived by: his wife Ivie L. Collier of Tumwater, WA; his children, Tim L. Shay of Olympia and Vickie L. O'Conner of Federal Way; and his brother Robert Collier of Longview.

Memorial donations may be made to Providence St. Peter Hospice.
