He was predeceased by: his parent George Butchko; his siblings, Anna Chinchar, Mary Wilkerson, Michael, Margaret, George S., Paul, Elizabeth Butchko and Pauline Rogers; and his wife Paula.
He is survived by: his parent Mary Havrilak Butchko; his children, Stephanie Horvath of Chapel Hill, NC., Andrea Noble and Stephen G. Butchko of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Amber Horvath and Paige Horvath Putt; and his siblings, Helen Royer of Ashburn, VA., Joseph Butchko of Monroeville, John Butchko (Jean) of Columbus, Eleanor Borzcik (Tony) of Lucerne Mines, Justine Rusinko (Paul) of Yonkers, N. Y. and Juliana Mills (Dick) of West Jefferson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
