She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; her daughter Susan; and her sisters, Barbara Elliott, Clara Wesen and Ella Mae Housden.

She is survived by: her children, William of Oklahoma City, OK, Jerrold (Kris) of Graham, WA, Robert (Lisa) of Indio, CA, Daniel (Kristie) of Chehalis, WA and Karen Chamberlain (Greg) of Tenino; and her brothers, Leo Volk, Jim Volk and Jerry Volk. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

A loving family and her belief in God supported her in her struggle with Alzheimer's.
