He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Johnstone and Carolyn Johnstone; and his son Chris Johnstone. He is survived by: his wife June of Centralia; his son Jeff; his grandson Liam; and his brothers, Jim Johnstone, Don Johnstone and Lindsey Johnstone. He is also survived by loving husband, caring father and grandfather who cherished his three grandchildren.
