He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Burke and Ina Burke; his brother Roy; his wife Phyllis Jean Cummings of Olympia; his children, Denise of Hoquiam, Karen of Gold Canyon, Arizona and Ron (Susie) of Roseville, Minnesota.; his grandsons, Shane Roberts (Stacy) of Florence, Joel Eaton (Nicole) of Olympia, Joshua and Andrew Burke of Minneapolis; and his sister Eleanor Burke Hawksworth. He was also cherished by numerous relatives, including about 50 nieces and nephews.
