It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Scott Proffitt (Olympia, Washington), who passed away on December 15, 2018, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lee and Bobbie Ann Proffitt; and his brothers, William Proffitt and David Proffitt. He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Proffitt (Basak) of Montgomery, AL and Jason Proffitt of Vietnam; and his sisters, JoAnne Attwood (Jeff) of Olympia and Nancy Dunagan (Mike) of Yelm, WA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
