He is survived by: his sister Nancy (Marty); his wife Char; his children, Wes Ward of Spokane, Shelly Kalenius (Steve) of Olympia, Wendy Sullivan (Larry Jones) of Vinita, OK, Angie Ward (Mark Medalen) of Olympia, Matthew Ward (Tara) of Ferndale, Robb Corbett (Elizabeth) of Pendleton, OR, Jon Corbett (Lisa) of Bend, OR and Kelly Barkhurst (Randy) of Steilacoom; his sister Lynn Van Lierop; and also, Linda (late Cork), Robb, Jon and Kelly. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mervin Ward's name to the Hands On Children's Museum in Olympia, WA.
