She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter Vroegop and Nellie Vroegop; her husband Case Doelman; her children, Casey Doelman (Kari), Kelly Cairns (Bill), Tim Doelman (Joy) and Chris Doelman (Michaela); and her siblings, Neil Vroegop (Virginia), Dita DeJong and Leny Boersma.
