He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lewis Leon Gunn and Marjorie M. Gunn; his wife Laura P. Watson of Olympia; and his children, Evart Bruce Watson (Aloha) of Elma, WA, Lewis Leon Watson (Amy) of Macon, GA and Michelle Rene Watson Olney of Lacey, WA.. He was also cherished by grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was a lifetime member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
