It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Sander Burgess of Olympia, Washington, born in Sunnyside, Washington, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. Burgess and Adelaide Burgess; his sisters, Helen Lindhorst and Kathryn Cox; and his son Michael W. Burgess.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Burgess and Dorothy Spain; his son-in-law Ulysses; his children, Cynthia Aburto and Kenneth Burgess; and his grandchildren, Ulysses Aburto, Magdalena Aburto, Jeremiah Burgess, Elijah Burgess and Joshua Burgess.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Boys Town of America or the Special Olympics, both of which he donated to through out his life.
