He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Powell and Nancy Powell of Onalaska, Washington.; his stepfather Archie Steele; his brothers, Jon Powell and Philip Powell; and his brothers-in-law, Alvin Glaze and Ronnie Knopf.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dean Powell (Magda), Diane Glaze, Mike Powell (Liz), Alan Powell (Cindy), Jaclyn Knopf, Pam Kinsman (Roy) and Jeffry Powell (Kathy); his stepbrother Dan Steele; and his sisters-in-law, Donnell Powell and Charlotte Powell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
