She is survived by: her mother Barbara "Bobbie" L.; her children, Mary D. Henderson (Taylor), Frankie L. Shepherd (Taylor), Gayle L. Jones (Glasgow), Candace J. Van Oeveren (Nagel) and Gilbert G. Glasgow, Jr.; her children-in-law, Frank L. Smith, Kimber Van Oeveren and Mary Poage Glasgow; her pet Maxie; her stepfather Samuel C. Simmons; her mother Toddy; her child Bobbie; and her husband Gil Glasgow. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great children; four great-great grandchildren.
Ever the ultimate realist, in her 80s, Mom had made her own funeral arrangements before the onset of Alzheimer's/Dementia.
