She was predeceased by: her parents, Flora Edwards and Walter Edwards; her brothers, Walter "Sandy" Edwards (Joan) and Douglas Edwards (Virginia); her great grandchild Dawson Gordon; and her son-in-law Edward "Ned" Pleus.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Hagel of Seattle, WA, Sharon Pleus of Ocean Shores, WA, Mary Helwagen (George) of Concord, OH and Steve Hagel (Julie) of Wetumpka, AL; her grandchildren, Sally McClain (Michael), Heidi Kleeblatt (Sven), Nate Helwagen (Jordan), Elaina Gordon (David), Adam Hagel (Frannie), Audra Hoshor (Matthew), Sethany Hagel, Charisa Hagel, Moriah Hagel, Judah Hagel, Abigail Hagel, Anna Hagel and Joshua Hagel; and her sister-in-law Nancy Edwards. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and by many treasured friends.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date, after we can travel without Covid interference.
