She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hans Adolph and Ethel Belle Hansen (Polson); her husband Harold Owen Ellis (Toots); her daughter Barbara Jo Seutter (Carl, Sr.); her grandchildren, Carl, Jr. and Carlene; her children, Bill and Dianna Ellis; her grandchildren, Tracy Ouderkirk (Pete), Tom Ellis (Amy), Tammy Preston (Brian) and Toni Owley (Devon); her great grandchildren, Jesse Ouderkirk (Roberta), Rachel Fischer (Heath), Micaela Bentx (James), JoCassa Welsh (Colter) and Trevor Preston; and her great great grandchildren, Joclyn Ouderkirk, Ian Ouderkirk and Rhykr Fischer.
When Covid was starting, it was determined that she had developed Pulmonary Fibrosis and was put on Hospice in August of 2020.
