We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2024, at the age of 16, Tara Halterman (Oak Harbor, Washington), born in Edmonds, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Tara is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Tara's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She is survived by: her parents, Todd Halterman of Everett and Charlotte Haeckl; her grandparents, Gary, Jamie Halterman of Coupeville, Sally Halterman of Edmonds and Terri Haeckl of Boise; and her half-sister Teagan Halterman. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

“I am just devastated for your loss. For all who knew and loved Tara. I can’t get her out of my mind. Tara was special to me. Her life meant something to me. Trying to find the words that I feel in my broken heart. 16 is way too young. Hard to comprehend and very painful for me. I asked my parents to care for her until she is joined by loved ones.”
