It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Wolfe (Oak Harbor, Washington), who passed away at the age of 87, on January 2, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delmar E. Wolfe and Dorotha B. Wolfe; his wife Patricia Jenkins; his children, Brenda Kaye, Bonnie Jo and Jeffery Scott; his sister Mary Lou Gruber of Lewiston, Idaho.; and his grandfather Bob. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Captain Wolfe will be laid to rest in Rosedale Memorial Gardens, Payette, Idaho, next to his parents with Military Honors; family requests that no flowers be sent.

“How ironic I would find Skipper Bob Wolfe's obit on the one year anniversary of his passing. Captain Wolfe was the VT-2 XO when I checked aboard as a fresh from flight training "nugget" flight instructor in 1971 aboard NAS Whiting Field. Captain Wolfe gave me a chance to get my feet on the ground as a Naval Officer showing by example how to effectively lead the troops. I will always consider him my mentor. My deepest sympathy to Pat who was the prototype "Navy wife."”
