Richard Chenoweth Egge Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Chenoweth Egge (Oak Harbor, Washington), who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Dexter Egge and Edna Louise Chenoweth; and his stepsister Jackie Laird. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Reiser; his children, Jordan Seegert (Paul), Laura Monroe (Bryan) and Ben Hunt (Erin); his grandchildren, Aaliyah, Kiera Robinson, Samantha, Colby Kuhia, Haylee and Naomi Hunt; his siblings, Jon, Steve Egge, Janet McCaffray and Mary Parsons; and his stepbrother John Flagg. He is also survived by spouses, and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Huberts Catholic Church.
He donated considerably to charity and, as an older man, he donated his time and talents to the Knights of Columbus, Langley Council, often selling hot dogs at community events on Whidbey Island.
