It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Zylstra of Oak Harbor, Washington, born in Hillsboro, Oregon, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Berger and Marie Berger; her brother James Berger; her husband Donald Zylstra of Oak Harbor; and her son-in-law Tom Hill.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lowell Berger and Virginia Berger Larkey; and her children, Gerald Zylstra (Karen), Marilyn Hill and Donna Sandberg (Leon). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
