“Deepest sympathy from the surviving members of the Applecross (Western Australia) Church of Christ youth group of which Guy was a part in his teenage years. He was a very popular good-natured young man with a lovely singing voice, and he also played a great game of tennis. There aren't many of the original group left now, but the belated news of his passing has brought back some very happy memories. Our condolences to his wife and family.”

“It came as a shock to me to hear of guy's passing. I distinctly remember the western endeavour in maryborough, queensland. Both guy and i sailed on this vessel on its maiden voyage. This was in 1972 and i later joined guy's seismic processing department in houston. Guy and i worked together until 1982 when i left houston for dallas. We stayed in contact with each for many years. Anthony morrison”
