He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Shovell and Mary Shovell (Dickey); and his grandson Justin Shovell. He is survived by: his sister Betty Marshall; his children, Robert Shovell (Mary), Joanne Day (Glen) and Karen Smith (John); his grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Derek, Royce and Devin; and his great grandchildren, Lillian, Grace, Natalie, Jordan, Jackson, Jalen, Kaia, August, Sawyer, Parker, Mackenzie, Justin and Kingston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
