He was predeceased by: his father Gary Crandall; and his uncle Les. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Crandall; his daughters, Summer Crandall and Savannah Crandall; his siblings, Lane Crandall and Heather Threadgill; his mother Janice Crandall of Northport Washington; and his grandchildren, Clifford, Elsie Crandall, Melvin and Gertie Hubert.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Spokane Humane Society in Shawn's name.
