He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Riley and Linda Riley. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; and his children, Mark Riley, Scott Riley (Cindy), Darryl Riley (Donna), Shannon Jayne (Chuck), Traci Riley, Kevin Riley (Lisa Rae), Todd Riley (Shelley), Eric Riley (Shari) and Lisa Riley (Casey).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sam's name to the Seattle Humane Society or the ASPCA.
