It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Burke (Nooksack, Washington), born in Columbia, Virginia, who passed away on August 4, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Burke and Christina Burke (Zender); his stepmother Ava; his brothers, Henry and Joe Burke; his stepsister Ruth Paige; and his granddaughter Allison Hahnel.

He is survived by: his wife Barb; his siblings-in-law, Faye Burke, Betty Dahlgren (Robinson) and Chuck Robinson (Kay); and his children, Elaine Hahnel (Brian), Tom (Barb) and Bob (Patti). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Foothills Food Bank (5568 Mt. Baker Hwy. Deming, WA 98244).
