It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leah Elizabeth Bennett of Newport, Washington, born in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Shepherd and Mary Frances Shepherd (Oxford). She is survived by: her children, Virgil, Vicki, Gail, Tia, Leah and Mary. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She belonged to the Teamsters, the Musicians Union, RSVP, Eagles.
