He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Lunden and Myrtle Lunden; his sisters, Lois and Ruth; his wife Lois; and his son Eric.

He is survived by: his daughter Karen (Frank) of Yorktown, VA; and his granddaughters, Kristin and Katharine Lewis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews.
