He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Kathryn Elizabeth Flaherty (Kiernan); and his siblings, Marge Flaherty, Marion Holly, Bernice Torraco, Don Flaherty, Milton "Butch" Flaherty and Max Flaherty.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Leo David Eutsler (Patricia Coutts) of Vancouver, BC and Elizabeth Susan Keast (Harry R.) of Everett, WA; and his nieces and nephews, Patricia Ann Allen (Kenneth) of Edmonds, WA, Debra Lynn Desrosier (Steven) of Arlington, WA, Kenneth Lee Flaherty of Lynnwood, WA and Michael Dean Flaherty (Stephanie) of Bothell, WA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
